The petitioner has sought for transfer from the Government Hospital, Karur to the Government Medical College Hospital, Thoothukudi, by making an application dated 22.09.2016. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that promotion counseling and transfer counseling are over and vacancy position has been ascertained and therefore, it should not be difficult for the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders, accommodating the petitioner in any one of the available vacancy. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that due to unavoidable/family circumstances, the petitioner has sought for transfer and therefore, his representation shall be considered. 4.Under such circumstances, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 22.09.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
