O R D E R
The writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents-1 & 2 to transfer the petitioner from Ramanathapuram District to Madurai District, by considering his application, dated 19.10.2017 for one way transfer.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, on 07.05.2015, he has joined duty as Village Administrative Officer in Kamuthi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and completed his probation on 1/3
04.05.2017. He has submitted an application through the fourth respondent/Thasildar seeking one way transfer to Madurai District. The further grievance of the petitioner is that the first respondent has published the transfer list, vide his proceedings in Se.Mu.Aa.No.Pani 5(4)/1324/2019, dated 07.06.2019, in which his name was not found. Hence, the instant writ petition is filed.
3. Though this petition has been filed to give a positive direction to the respondents, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the first respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.10.2017.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on merits, within a specified time that may be fixed by this Court.
5. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer, that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner case, this Court directs the first respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 19.10.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass necessary orders, within a period of Twelve(12) Weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
