Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct "Innisai Katcheri Programme" on 07.05.2017, 09.05.2017, 10.05.2017, 12.05.2017 and 14.05.2017 during the night time from 09.00 p.m., to 01.00 a.m., further to conduct drama programme on 08.05.2017 and 13.05.2017 at 09.00 p.m., to 01.00 a.m., and also to conduct Pattimandram Programme on 11.05.2017 during the night hours on the eve of "Sri Mutharamman Temple Festival" situated in Avaraikulam, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2017.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting programmes in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents. 3.It is seen from the records that on 20.04.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 20.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
