Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission and accord protection to conduct kabadi tournament on 14.05.2017 at 09.00 p.m to 15.05.2017 09.00 a.m further on the very same day during the day time grant permission to conduct super Six Cricket Tournament, further on the very same day i.e. on 14.05.2017 to grant permission to conduct Innisai Katcheri Programme (only Devotional Songs) at 09.00 p.m to 01.00 a.m held in ground belonging to Mahendra Giri Ayya Vaikundasamy Mahimaipathi Trust. For Petitioner : Mr.M.Subash Babu For Respondents : Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting programmes in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.It is seen from the records that on 20.04.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been

considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 20.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
