PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents not to take any action in respect of Survey Nos.1/2/1 and 1/2/2 of the said Pulavanvayal Village, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District, except in accordance with law.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents not to take any action in respect of the property in S.Nos.1/2/1 and 1/2/2, situated at Pulavanvayal Village, Kalaiyarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that though he is in possession and enjoyment of the petition mentioned property, the 2nd respondent demanded the petitioner to vacate from the aforesaid place by stating that the said land has been classified as Poramboke in the revenue records. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for the relief stated supra.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that there is no survey numbers as stated by the petitioner available in the revenue records and that therefore, he prays before this Court that the writ petition ought to be dismissed. W.P.(MD)No.16890 of 2019 produced a copy of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.A4/1926/2020 dated 03.09.2020.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned to seek his remedy, by furnishing correct survey numbers. No costs.
