ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the respondent No.2 to sub divide the Petitioner's property and grant patta in respect of 75 cents in Survey No. 556/14, situated at Puthalam Village, Agatheeswaram Taluk, Ilakudi, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District. 2.According to the petitioner, she is said to have filed an application before the third respondent on 01.03.2016 for subdividing the property and for issuance of separate patta. Since no order has been passed, she sent a reminder on 12.07.2016. Despite the same, no order has been passed.

3.Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the documents carefully. 4.Considering the fact that the petitioner's application, dated 1st March, 2016 is pending before the third respondent, the third respondent/Tahsildar, Agastheeswaram Taluk, Nagercoil is directed to conduct an enquiry and pass suitable orders within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on merits and in accordance with Law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other rival claimants, if any. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
