ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 of BNS., seeking orders, to direct the third respondent herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 15.06.2024.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner had taken the lease of the land belonging to the Sri Kanchi Kodi Peedathipathi and subsequently, the petitioner has surrendered the lease hold properties and now by alleging that he is having issues with his wife, has lodged a complaint seeking police protection. He would further submit that on the basis of the compliant given by the petitioner, CSR.No.571 of 2024 came to be registered and after enquiry, the police directed the parties to approach the competent Civil Court and closed the compliant.
