O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 13.02.2017, and to pass appropriate orders within a stipulated time may be fixed by this Court by considering the name of the Petitioner for promotion to the post of Foreman Grade-I as per his seniority in Thiruchendur Division, Tuticorin Electricity Distribution Circle.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 13.02.2017, within a time frame stipulated by this Court.
3.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer now sought for before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:
"The second respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 13.02.2017, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order".
4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently the connected W.M.P.(MD). No.6201 of 2017 is closed.
