[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to grant permission for conducting hunger strike in front of Taluk office or near bus stand roundana or collector office or municipal office or in the permissible places as fixed by the respondent police at Karur on the basis of the representation dated 20.04.2017, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus.

2.The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner has advanced arguments on the basis of the averments made in the petition.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has contended to the effect that the representation dated 20.04.2017 has been subsequently rejected on 27.04.2017. 4.Considering the representation made on the side of the respondents, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. "In fine, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Karur. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Karur is directed to dispose of the same within a period of two days from the date of receipt of such representation.." 5.With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
