ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing 2nd respondent to issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the S.F.Nos.503/84A and 503/84B situate in Karunkulam Village, Srivaikundam Taluk, Tuticorin District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2016.

2.According to the petitioner, he filed an application before the second respondent for issuance of separate patta on 16.06.2016. Since the said application is pending before the second respondent and no order has been passed, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

4.Since the petitioner's application is pending with the second respondent, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 16.06.2016 and pass an appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with Law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
