This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to give permission and police protection for conducting Innisai Katchery Programme on 07.08.2019 for peaceful performance of Aadi Mulaippari Festival, scheduled to be conducted in Sri Muthalamman Temple, Pudhusukulapuram, Tirunelveli District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2019.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Innisai Katchery Programme on 07.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 18.07.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that now the second respondent is ready to give permission to the petitioner to conduct Innisai Katchery programme and due to some law and order problem, the petitioner would restrict the time for conducting the programme till 11.00 p.m.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the Innisai Katchery Programme by imposing necessary condition to maintain law and order.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
