ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction, directing the respondents to carry out survey of lands belonging to the petitioner in survey No.383/37, 383/2, 383/14, as per direction of the first respondent in O.Mu.3717/2015/A4 dated 22.09.2015 within the time stipulated by this Court. 2.According to the petitioner, he filed an application before the first respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Pattukkottai, for measuring his property on 22.06.2016. On receipt of the said application, the first respondent referred the matter to the second respondent/Tahsildar, Peravoorani Taluk, Tanjore District to conduct an enquiry and field inspection and inform the same to the petitioner as well as the office of the first respondent. Till date, the second respondent did not take any steps. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3.Heard the learned Government Advocate and perused the documents carefully.
4.Considering the fact that the first respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer has already referred the matter to the second respondent/Tahsildar to conduct an enquiry and field inspection and submit a report, the second respondent is directed to complete the above exercise within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
