PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20/10/2017 (through proper channel) and refix the petitioners seniority in the cadre of Village Administrative Officer / Junior Assistant / Typist and Steno Typist in Trichy District as mandated under Section 40(2) of the Tamilnadu Government Servant (Conditions of the Service) Act 2016 and consequently revise the seniority of the petitioners in the cadre of Revenue Assistant / Senior Revenue Inspector.

The petitioner, with a request that her seniority as a Village Administrative Officer has to be refixed, has submitted a representation before the respondents and filed this writ petition in the year 2019.

2.Today(20.12.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the request of this petitioner for refixing her seniority was already considered by the respondents and it was rejected, as she is not entitled for the relief, by a proceedings of the District Collector, Trichy in Na.Ka.No.A3/26042/2017, dated 19.12.2024. A copy of the proceedings dated, 19.12.2024 is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed with liberty to this petitioner to challenge of the proceedings of the 3/5
