This Court by order, dated 25.09.2019 in W.P(MD).No.19980 of 2019, directed the respondents to execute the sale deeds in view of the provisio to Rule 78(3) of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Rules, 1988. In compliance of the direction, it is reported that they executed the sale deeds in respect of similarly placed persons.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that pursuant to the previous directions issued by this Court, the respondents in their proceedings in Na.Ka.No.563 rg(1)> dated 25.09.2018 executed the sale deeds in respect of similarly placed persons, whereas, they have not complied with the directions of this Court to the petitioners herein and hence, they have filed the present Contempt Petitions.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that they are willing to execute the sale deeds and seeks two weeks time for reporting compliance. To that effect, the first respondent also filed an affidavit before this Court.
5. Recording the affidavit filed by the first respondent / Registrar of Co-operative Societies and the submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the contempt petitions are closed with a direction to the (*) Second respondent to execute the sale deeds within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Registry is directed to post the matter on 3/11/2019 for reporting compliance.
