This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to fix the correct basic pay and issue the arrears of difference of basic wages for the period from June 2015 to May 2016 and early annual increment during May 2016 payable to him based on his date of appointment after considering the Petitioner's representation, dated 24.06.2016 within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4.Without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.06.2016, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
