The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of .
2. Heard Mr.V.Panneer Selvam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Siddharthan, learned Additional Government 2/6
Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
4. The petitioner is said to have been working in Educational Department as part time Sweeper for the past 10 years. After 10 years of service, his service has not been regularised so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to regularise the services.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is entitled to get the benefit as per G.O.(Ms)No.22 Personnel Administrative Reforms Department, dated 28.02.2006.
6. However, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the above Government Order is not applicable to the case of the petitioner. 3/6
6. Since the petitioner's representation so far has not been considered, the same may be considered on merits and pass orders in the light of the Government Order, if any, applicable to the case of the petitioner.
7. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.06.2024 on merits in the light of the Government Order, if any, applicable to the case of the petitioner and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
