(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The petitioner seeks removal of encroachment committed by the fourth respondent in respect of the land comprised in Survey No. 531/1 Narasingampatti Village, Melur.

2.The third respondent is the competent authority to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 20 April 2017. 3.We direct the third respondent to consider the said representation and enquire into the same. If as a result of the said enquiry, it is noticed that there is any encroachment, the third respondent shall take action to remove the said encroachment after due process of law and after notice to the interested parties. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
