Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant appropriate permission and adequate police protection to conduct the Kabadi tournament from 13.05.2017 at 10.00 pm to 14.05.2017 at 12.00 pm in the Ground situating in the Village namely Adaikkalapattanam Bus stand Ground, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2017 within the time limit fixed by this court.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents. 3.It is seen from the records that on 21.04.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 21.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
