Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to grant permission to conduct the cultural program (Innisai Katcheri) on 12.05.2017 at about 09.00 p.m. in pursuant to the Kodai Festival of the Sudalaimadasamy temple, Nallur Panchayat Union, Andipatti Village, Alangulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Palani Velayutham For Respondents : Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Innisai Katcheri programme in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents. 3.It is seen from the records that on 25.04.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 25.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
