Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to give permission and police protection for the event of Orchestra and Adal Padal function to be scheduled on 05.05.2017 and 06.05.2017 at the Temple Festival of Arulmigu Muppudathi Amman Chithirai Festival, Ayyapuram, Tenkasi Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2017 within the period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting the programmes mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 17.04.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 17.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
