O R D E R This petition has been filed seeking direction to the 3rd respondent to give adequate Police Protection at the time of survey, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 21.06.2023. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that for the property, which belongs to the petitioner, patta was wrongly issued in favour of the fourth respondent. After enquiry, the above said patta was cancelled by the Tahsildar, Nilakottai, in Na.Ka.No.794/2022/A4. After the above said cancellation of patta, for issuance of patta to the petitioner, to measure the property, steps have been taken. At that time private respondents made trouble. Hence, representation was given to the respondent police, seeking police protection. The same is kept pending. 3.
Let the above said representation of the petitioner be disposed of by the respondent police, by summoning the parties concerned, within a period of one week from the date of appearance of parties. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, if any necessity arises, further steps may be taken by the parties, to measure the property with the help of the Surveyor concerned, who shall follow the procedure under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act and undertake the survey.
During the course of survey, if any trouble arises, the third respondent may extend police protection.
4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
