Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records relating to the detention order passed by the second respondent in Cr.M.P.No.10/2021, dated 31.08.2021 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu namely Elayaraja, son of Selvaraj, aged 46 years (now detained at Central Prison, Trichy) before this Court and set him at liberty.

Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.5407, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 12.11.2021, the detention order has been revoked.

2. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
