PRAYER : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide retirement benefits to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2019. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide retirement benefits to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2019. 2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the third respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that with reference to the prayer sought for in this writ petition, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondents on 23.04.2019. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

But, no action has been taken by the respondent concerned till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for the relief stated supra.

4.In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that insofar as the Date of Birth of the petitioner is concerned, there was an error occurred in her service records and hence, the respondents have not considered the said representation dated 23.04.2019. 5.In agreement with the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2019 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
