PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to grant permission for running the Cattle Farm and Market at Survey No.445/4B1, 445/4B2, 445/4B3, 447/1A, 447/2B, 477/2B1, 477/2B2 and 477/5 at Porunthalur, Chinnareddipatti, Thogamalai, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2024 within time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to grant permission for running the cattle farm and market at Survey No.445/4B1, 445/4B2, 445/4B3, 447/1A, 447/2B, 477/2B1, 477/2B2 and 477/5 at Porunthalur, Chinnareddipatti, Thogamalai, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2024 within time frame as fixed by this Court. 2.Already the petitioner was running a cattle farm. However, subsequently, she also conducted market. The market was conducted without any license. When it was brought to the knowledge of the respondents, the 2/5
respondents have taken action and closed both the cattle farm and the market. However, the petitioner's application was considered and the District Health Officer, Karur, vide letter, dated 12.09.2024, has issued several conditions against the petitioner to conduct cattle farm as well as market. 3.The contention of the petitioner is that she is ready and willing to comply with the said conditions. In fact, she has obtained certificates from the appropriate authorities and has submitted the same. 4.Therefore, the 1st respondent District Collector shall consider the petitioner's representation, dated 01.07.2024, and shall grant permission, if it is in accordance to law. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
