ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents to trace out the original documents bearing original Document No.615/1999 dt. 15.04.1999 and document No. 616 of 1999 dt. 15.04.1999 registered on the file of Paramathy Sub Registrar or to issue a Non Traceable Certificate.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had lost her document No.615 of 1999 registered at Paramathy Sub Registrar office. This property was purchased by the petitioner and her father. Hence she gave complaint to the the Inspector of Police, Musiri Police Station on 06.06.2022 in connection with the missing of document and prayed for its recovery, but it is not recovered. Therefore she has filed the present petition seeking issuance of Non Traceable Certificate. She also submitted that notice was issued in the news paper about the missing of the document.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that there is a delay of six days in giving complaint before the respondent police. 2/5

The petitioner has not appeared before the second respondent and produced any document in connection with the missing document.

4. I have considered the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent police.

5. It is seen that the petitioner had made paper publication with regard to the missing of her document. In view of the same, this Court directs the second respondent police to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner for tracing the document. If the document is lost as claimed by the petitioner and is not traceable, the respondent police is directed to issue Non Traceable Certificate to the petitioner.

6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
