PRAYER:
Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to survey my land comprised in Survey No.64/2E3B2, Pudhur Village, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District and direct the fourth respondent to provide police protection at the time of survey based upon my representation dated 18.04.2017.

ORDER
The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition for a direction to the second respondent to survey his land in Survey No.64/2E3B2, Pudhur Village, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District and to further direct the fourth respondent to provide police protection at the time of survey based upon his representation dated 18.04.2017.
2.Heard Mr.C.Prithviraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and G.Muthu Kannan, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner. 4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition and the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.04.2017 and take action, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording sufficient opportunity to the necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any request made by the second respondent, the fourth respondent shall provide police protection. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
