respondent Nos.5 and 6 to restrain the unauthorized sale of liquor in Amatchapuram and surrounding Villages in Andipatti Taluk, Theni District and take necessary action against the respondent No.7. For Petitioner : Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy For RR 1 to 6 : Mr.K.Guru, Additional Government Pleader.
ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give necessary direction to the respondents 5 and 6 for the purpose of curtailing unauthorised selling of liquor in Amatchapuram Village and surrounding Village in Andipatti Taluk, Theni District, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents 1 to 6. Considering the nature of the relief sought in the Writ Petition, notice need not be sent to the seventh respondent.
3.It is seen from the records that on 21.04.2017 a representation has been given by the petitioner, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.
4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the fifth respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 21.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of fifteen days. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
