PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.482 of BNSS PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.120 of 2025 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A1 & A5, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) and 351(3) of BNS, 2023 in Crime No.120 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that due to a previous motive, on 05.06.2025, when the de-facto complainant was approaching a bus stop, the accused persons allegedly picked up a quarrel with him, attacked him using a wooden log, and threatened him with dire consequences by showing a weapon. Hence, the present case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and have not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioners are ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that there are totally five accused persons in this case and the petitioners have been arrayed as A1 and A5. He further submitted that the injured is still undergoing treatment at the hospital. Hence, he opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and also taking note of the fact that the injured is still undergoing treatment at the hospital, and that the FIR was registered on 06.06.2025 and the case is at the preliminary stage of investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners at this stage. 3/4
