The petitioner has given a complaint on 09.03.2017 and the same is pending enquiry in C.S.R.No.97 of 2017 before the second respondent.

2. In view of the law laid down by the Honourable Supreme Court in Sugesan Transport Pvt. Ltd., v. the Assistant Commissioner of Police, J2 Adyar Police Station, Chennai and another reported in 2016(5) CTC 577, a Writ of Mandamus as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However the second respondent police is directed to proceed with the enquiry in C.S.R.No.97 of 2017 in accordance with law.

3. With the above observations, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
