ORDER

Seeking to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to take necessary action against the 3 to 5 respondents on the basis of petitioner's complaint dated 25.04.2026 and 11.05.2026, this writ petition is filed.

2. Since no adverse order is passed against the private respondents, notice to the private respondents is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that earlier the petitioner's marriage was fixed with the 3rd respondent, which was later cancelled. However, in the interregnum, an engagement was conducted, in which several photographs was taken. The same is now been misused by the 3rd to 5th respondents after cancellation of the marriage. In this regard, a complaint has been given. Since no action has been taken, this writ petition is filed.

4. The learned counsel for State of Tamil Nadu (Crl.side) on instructions submitted that the petitioner is not cooperated with the investigation.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

In this regard, the 2nd respondent police is directed to issue fresh summons on the petitioner as well as the 3rd to 5th respondents under Section 64 BNSS and thereafter conduct and conclude the enquiry, after giving an opportunity of hearing, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that the petitioner should extend her full co-operation for conducting proper enquiry.
