O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in D.V.O.P.No.9 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Aruppukottai.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners will face the proceedings in D.V.O.P.No.9 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Aruppukottai. However, the learned counsel for the petitioners request for dispensing with the personal appearance of the petitioners 2, 3 and 4, who are the in-laws of the de-facto complainant.

3. The petitioners are permitted to raise all the grounds that have been raised in this Criminal Original Petition before the Court below. The Court below shall consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law. The first petitioner shall be present before the Court below during every date of hearing. Insofar as the petitioners 2 to 4 are concerned, they shall be represented by an advocate throughout the proceedings. The Court below is directed to dispose of the D.V.O.P.No.9 of 2017 within a period of three months https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
