Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to correct the date of birth in the existing passport in passport No. T2191133 and pass such further or other orders as this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondent to correct the date of birth in the existing passport No.T2191133.

2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner has sought for change of date of birth in the passport by filing aadhaar card. The aadhar card was issued on the information submitted by the petitioner. However, he has produced the birth certificate before this Court which was issued on 28.06.2024. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application seeking change of date of birth in the passport with all necessary documents and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
