Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant permission and police protection for "Innisai Katcheri" musical program as scheduled to be held on 17.05.2017 during night in connection with "Temple Festival" of deity Arulmigu Sri Devi Muppidathi Amman Temple at Valliyoor, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Balamurugan For Respondents : Mr.K.Guru, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Innisai Katcheri in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 17.04.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

representation dated 17.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
