The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 07.05.2025, seeking revision of order passed by the second respondent dated 01.02.2024.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.Vairavan Kasirajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran,, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. It is seen from the records that the petitioner's father viz., Petchimuthu Nadar filed an application before the second respondent seeking cancellation of the patta issued in the name of Chinnasamy Nadar and grant of patta in his wife's name viz., the petitioner's mother in respect of the property in S.No.128/11, Pungarvanatham Village, Ettaiyapuram Taluk, Thoothukudi District. The said application was dismissed by the second respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner herein preferred a representation before the first respondent 2/4
and the same has not been considered by him. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on it's own merits.
6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to all interested parties.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
