ORDER

(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The petitioner alleges non-compliance of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.29188 of 2024. The matter relates to unauthorized construction.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the municipality informs us that the building owner had filed revision before the State Government under Section 80A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 and obtained interim order. Therefore, we close this contempt petition with the liberty to the petitioner herein to revive the same based on the outcome of the appeal before the State Government. We direct the Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Secretariat, Chennai - 9 to dispose of the building owner's appeal on merits and in 2/4

accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter.
