This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2016 and his application dated 16.06.2016 and pass appropriate orders, directing the respondent herein to permit the petitioner to participate in the selection process to the post of Controller of Examinations in Gandhigram Rural Institute (Deemed University), Gandhigram, Dindigul District.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner sent a representation dated 22.09.2016 to the respondent to consider his application dated 16.06.2016 to participate in the interview scheduled to be held on 03.10.2016 for the direct recruitment of "Controller of Examinations"; since no concrete response is forthcoming from the respondent on the representation, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. There is an undertaking by the learned counsel for the respondent that the respondent will permit the petitioner to participate in the interview, scheduled to be conducted on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

03.10.2016 or on any other date to be fixed by the respondent. There is also an undertaking to issue call letter to the petitioner by Email.

5. Recording the undertaking given by the respondent, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
