PRAYER:

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner's name in respect of the property measuring 16 cents in Survey Nos.704/2, 705/1A, 705/2 and 705/3 at Padalaiyarkulam Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2015 and 15.02.2017. O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner's name in respect of the property measuring 16 cents in Survey Nos.704/2, 705/1A, 705/2 and 705/3 at Padalaiyarkulam Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2015 and 15.02.2017.

2. Heard Mr.N.Madhava Govindan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.G.Muthukannan learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in the Writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.02.2015 and 15.02.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunities to the necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
