ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner wants to settle the petition mentioned property in favour of her husband. The settlement deed was presented for registration. Registration was refused for the sole reason that there is mismatch between the name in the Aadhar card and name in the parent document.

3.The third respondent is not justified in refusing registration on this ground. The entry in the Aadhar card cannot operate to the prejudice of the presentent. If the third respondent is satisfied about the identity of the petitioner, then the discrepancy in the Aadhar copy should not have come in the way. In the settlement deed, the petitioner has described as Rajeshwari @ Rajathi. Merely because the alias may did not found in the aathar card, the authority ought not to have decline to register the document.

4.In this view of the matter, the impugned refusal check slip is quashed. The petitioner is permitted to re-present the document. It shall be registered and released subject to the other usual formalities. 5.This writ petition is allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
