This Criminal Miscellaneous petitions have been filed to amend the name of the respondent police station as 'The Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Anna Nagar, Madurai City' instead of 'The Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Madurai' and also amend the name of the jurisdictional Court as 'The learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for the Exclusive Trial of POCSO Act Cases, Madurai' instead of 'The Judicial Magistrate Court No.VI, Madurai' in Crl.OP(MD).No.7322 of 2026, dated 21.04.2026.

2. Perusal of affidavit and hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, typographical error has been committed, while presenting the petition instead of stating 'The Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Anna Nagar, Madurai City' and 'The learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for the Exclusive Trial of POCSO Act Cases, Madurai', it have been wrongly stated as 'The Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Madurai' and 'The Judicial Magistrate Court No.VI, Madurai'.

3.There was no objection on the side of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side).

4.Since it is a typographical error, this Court deems fit to allow the petition and accordingly allowed.

5.Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendments in this regard and issue a fresh order copy to the parties. Consequently, the time granted to the petitioners in Crl.OP(MD).No.7322 of 2026, dated 21.04.2026, is extended for a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
