2.The petitioner does not propose to pursue this contempt petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner submitted an application seeking voluntary retirement on 10.01.2025.

4.The District Educational Officer, Pudukkottai is directed to process the said application and forward the same to the competent authority, if it is otherwise in order. Upon receipt of the proposal, if any, from the Joint Director, School Education (Personnel), the competent authority shall pass final order thereon within a period of four weeks thereafter.
