The petitioner is a Post Graduate Assistant in Economics and she employed in the sixth respondent school from 03.06.2009. Earlier, she was employed as Post Graduate Assistant in economics on 04.09.2000 at Sevanmandir Girls' Higher Secondary School, Parangipettai, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District. 2.The petitioner was provided with Account No.336216 and she was contributing a sum of Rs.1,000/- towards Teachers Provident Fund from 04.09.2000. The fifth respondent approved the appointment of the petitioner on and from 03.09.2009. After joining in the second respondent school, the respondents did not deduct the Provident Fund from the salary of the petitioner.
Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the District Educational Officer, Tirunelveli District requesting him to continue her under the Teacher Provident Fund Scheme i.e. the Old Pension Scheme bearing Account No.336216 and there was no response. Hence, reminders were sent and the same were also not considered and hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Under the above stated circumstances, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2014 and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
