PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to issue a direction, directing the 1st respondent to instruct the 3rd respondent police to give necessary police protection to the petitioner based on his representation dated 06.05.2026.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to give necessary police protection to the petitioner.

2. A perusal of the representation of the petitioner dated 06.05.2026 clearly reveals that already civil suit is pending.

3. The learned Counsel for State of TN(crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, submitted that the complaint was closed on 14.05.2026 directing the parties to approach the competent civil Court.

4. In view of the above said facts, the question of granting police protection to the petitioner herein pending civil suit does not arise.

5. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
