O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to give necessary police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, his family members and the property comprised in Survey No.384/6D, situated at Vadakkippatti, Karuppoor Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2020. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the dispute arose between the petitioner and the respondents No.5 to 10 for the property comprised in Survey No.384/6D, situated 1/3

at Vadakkipatti, Karuppoor Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District. In this regard, the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.134 of 2014 before the learned District Munsif Court, Manapparai, Trichy and interim injunction was also granted in favour of the petitioner and the same is still in force. In spite of the interim order, the respondents 5 to 10 trespassed into the petitioner's property and threatened the petitioner and abused the petitioner with filthy language and also attacked him with intention to grab the property. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 19.11.2020 to the respondents 1 to 4 through registered post. So far, no action has been taken. Hence the petitioner filed this present petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted, at the time of enquiry, the respondents 5 to 10 had given an undertaking that they would await for the result of the civil suit and they will not entered into the rights of the petitioner's premises till the final decision in the civil suit. Therefore, the complaint was closed on 18.11.2020.

4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
