This is a Writ of Mandamus seeking direction to the respondent to appoint the petitioner in a suitable post on compassionate ground in the respondent corporation by considering the petitioner's representation dated 29.08.2016.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader.
3.The petitioner's father died in harness on 27.07.2011, while he was working in the Corporation of the respondent as Computer/Writer in a Health Centre. As the petitioner's father died, the petitioner had to discontinue his studies on account of penurious circumstances of the family. Hence, the petitioner gave representations on 12.06.2014 as well as on 29.08.2016 requesting the respondent to consider his request for appointment on compassionate ground. As it was not considered, this writ petition has been filed.

orders are likely to be passed shorly.
5.Considering the indigenous circumstances, in which, the petitioner's family is placed, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 29.08.2016 and to pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
