ORDER

The instant contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court, dated 25.04.2024, made in W.P(MD)No.6210 of 2024. 2.A perusal of the order of this Court reveals that the first respondent in the writ petition, namely, the Additional Chief Secretary/Commissioner of Revenue Administration has been directed to dispose of the appeal said to have been presented by the writ petitioner on 19.03.2024 and 23.03.2024 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.However, the contempt petition has been filed only as against the second respondent namely the District Collector, Karur and the reason for filing the contempt petition as against the second respondent in the writ petition is not known.

4.On instructions, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submits that the first respondent in the writ petition has not received any appeal from the writ petitioner or through proper channel. 2/4

5.Therefore, it is clear that the contempt petition is completely misconceived. There are no merits in the contempt petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands dismissed.
