The petitioner herein had earlier filed Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1454 of 2021 for expediting the investigation and for filing final report in Crime No.1189 of 2020. 2. The contention of the petitioner is that the said order has not been complied with. Hence, this contempt petition came to be filed.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that within one week, final report to be filed before the jurisdictional Court. On such final report being filed, the jurisdictional Court shall take a call in the matter within a period of four weeks thereafter.

4. This Contempt Petition is disposed of accordingly.
