A4/2494/2016 dated 09.01.2017, quash the same in so far as Sl.No.1 pertaining to construction of over head water tank in Thirumayam Village, Pudukkottai, is concerned and consequently direct the respondents 1 & 2 herein to construct the over head water tank in Government poramboke lands in any one of S.Nos.911/2, 794/12 & 928/19 in Thirumayam Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2.The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions submitted that after issuing the contract, the contractor has already finished the work. We therefore do not find any reason to entertain this writ petition.

3.The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
