This petition has been filed to direct the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam to dispose the application in D.V.O.P.No.6 of 2019 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Even though the Criminal Original Petition for the above said relief may not lie, in the case of Dr.P.Padmanaban and other Vs Monica and Another 2021 1 MLJ Crl. 311, a direction has been issued to all the Courts which are all dealing with D.V.O.P matters to dispose of the case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. By following the above said order, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thirumayam is directed to comply the direction as issued in the above said matter.

3. Since the Civil Revision Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India will lie for the above said relief, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of as not-maintainable.
