PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take an appropriate penal action against the 6th respondent for making commission of offence by misusing the several crores of Public Fund, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2025 within a stipulated period of time fixed by this Court. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate penal action against the 6th respondent for making commission of offence by misusing several crores of Public Fund, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2025 within a time frame.

2. When we questioned about the competence of the petitioner for seeking the abovesaid prayer, it was brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner who has lost the election as against the 6th respondent, has now come up with this public interest litigation. Perusal of the entire affidavit in the writ petition also clearly shows that without any details, omnibus allegations are made without any substance.

3. In that view of the matter, we are of the view that this writ petition is filed only with private interest and no public interest is involved in this case.
