O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 03.04.2017.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner is the legally wedded wife and there is a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and her husband and the petitioner has given a complaint before the 2nd respondent against the husband and in-laws and the said complaint is pending in C.S.R.No.149 of 2017 and the 2nd respondent has not taken any steps to investigate the matter and register the case.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents states that the complaint given by the petitioner dated 03.04.2017 is pending before the 2nd respondent in C.S.R.No.149 of 2017 and he has to take appropriate action on the complaint given by the petitioner on merits.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court inclined to grant a Writ of Mandamus by directing the respondents to take appropriate action on the complaint dated 03.04.2017, given by the petitioner herein and register a case, if any cognizable offence is made out.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of . No costs.
